We use this information for purposes related to scheduling and providing care. Our online appointment scheduling system is provided through Wix with HIPAA protections enabled. We have entered into the applicable Business Associate Agreement with Wix for the handling of protected health information (PHI). Wix is contractually required to safeguard PHI in accordance with applicable HIPAA requirements. Access to PHI is limited according to the applicable agreements, permissions, and security controls.
We take reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information submitted through our website.
Once you receive care, your medical information may also be maintained in our electronic health record (EHR) system, which is not connected to this site. Information maintained as part of your medical record is subject to our Notice of Privacy Practices and applicable HIPAA requirements upheld by Pikes Peak ENT.
